VectorGurus provides professional vector conversion services, including AI-powered vectorization and expert manual tracing services. Please read these Terms carefully before using our Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You have not been previously suspended or removed from the Service
• Your use of the Service will not violate any applicable law or regulation

3. Accounts & Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You may register using your email address or through third-party authentication services (such as Google). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Service Description

VectorGurus provides the following services:

4.1 AI Vectorization

Automated conversion of raster images to vector format using artificial intelligence. AI-generated vectors are available for instant download upon payment.

4.2 Professional Tracing

Expert manual vectorization by professional designers. Custom quotes are provided based on project complexity, with typical turnaround of 24-48 hours.

4.3 File Formats

Delivered files may include SVG, AI, EPS, PDF, and other vector formats as specified in your order.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing

All prices are displayed in USD. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already placed and paid for.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the specified amount. We do not store complete credit card information on our servers.

5.3 Refunds

For professional tracing services, if you are not satisfied with the results, we will revise the work at no additional cost or provide a full refund. AI vectorization downloads are non-refundable once the file has been downloaded.

5.4 Credits

Purchased credits are non-refundable and do not expire. Credits may be used for AI vectorization services only.

6. Licenses & Ownership

6.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the original images you upload. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to use, modify, and authorize us to process your uploaded content.

6.2 Delivered Work

Upon full payment, you receive full ownership and rights to the vectorized output created from your original content. You may use the delivered files for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.

6.3 License to VectorGurus

By uploading content, you grant VectorGurus a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. User Content

You are solely responsible for all content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the content
• The content does not infringe any third-party rights
• The content does not violate any applicable laws
• The content is not defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable

We reserve the right to refuse to process any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate at our sole discretion.

8. AI Vectorization Services

Our AI vectorization service uses machine learning technology to convert raster images to vector format. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated output may not be perfect and may require manual adjustments
• Results vary depending on input image quality and complexity
• We do not guarantee specific output quality or accuracy
• AI processing is automated and may occasionally produce unexpected results

For critical or complex projects, we recommend our professional tracing service for guaranteed results.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the Service to create content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-uploaded content), features, and functionality are owned by VectorGurus and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The VectorGurus name, logo, and all related names, logos, and slogans are trademarks of VectorGurus. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. AI-generated outputs may not be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific needs.

You assume all responsibility and risk for your use of the Service and any content you upload or download.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VECTORGURUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100 USD).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VectorGurus and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you upload to the Service.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@vectorgurus.com or through your account settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
